We were visiting my daughter, who has a fenced-in yard, with our dog Barney, a Jack Russell. One of the children let the gate open and Barney ran out but we did not realize this had happened until we were ready to go home. Fortunately, a neighbor found Barney and saw his collar with the microchip number. They called PetLink and PetLink sent me a text message. We got connected to them and went straightaway to pick up Barney. He is a Jack Russel and loves to run but with his chip this is a less worrying prospect. We are so happy he was found!
