Our Italian Greyhound, Jill, ran away one evening recently. A vet found Jill wandering the road about two miles from our new home. She did not have a tag on because we had only just moved. Fortunately, however, I had updated Jill’s PetLink information that indicated how to contact us. The vet scanned Jill’s chip and called me the next morning! After a long twelve hours, news that Jill was safe brought us happiness.
