I was doing gardening at home and my two dogs are usually with me. I was just dealing with the weeds when a neighbor said “Where’s Mia?”
I though she must be asleep inside the house but then I went upstairs and got a call saying they had got her and I said “What you do you mean, she’s in the house”. A lady driving an animal control car brought Mia straight back. When she scans lost dogs it shows on her computer if they are chipped and where they live. Mia’s contact tags were lost, so if not for microchip she would have been taken to a shelter and that would have been a big problem. I didn’t know until she was brought back that she was gone so I didn’t have time to suffer from anxiety. It was awesome, she was only gone for half an hour. I’m very glad she had the chip and very happy with the service.
