Our kitten, Highway, disappeared around April 2015. Especially as Highway was timid and fearful of others, we thought she had been run over by a car or killed by a dog. After nine months we were contacted by PetLink and were relieved to learn that she was fine. Someone had found Highway several months after she disappeared when she was skinny and skittish. They cared for her for months, reassured her and welcomed her into their home. Once they were finally able to win Highway’s trust and get her in the house, they took her to the vet. The vet looked for the microchip and PetLink contacted me, connecting me with the couple who found Highway. This is a great happy-ending story.
