Thank you for this invitation to send you a brief account of the disappearance and happy return of Telly and his younger brother Hector (who I believe has a microchip from a different company) who happily decided to ignore the “rule” about not leaving our property, along with photos. I will happily do that — as a retired professional photographer and their very proud “Grandpaw,” I have googles of wonderful photos of them (and their parents*) doing many beautiful things: they’re* certified therapy dogs who have been helping all kinds of people in need in hospitals, nursing homes, elementary “Reading to Rover” visits, U. of Buffalo “stress reduction” events, and child victims of sexual abuse receiving counseling and when bearing witness against their abusers in court.
* Their papa Argos (who was even a more famous therapy dog, passed away 4 years ago.
